Privacy Policy

Last updated: 26 September 2026

The short version: if you join the Jammigans mailing list, we store your email address so we can send you playtest invites and project updates. That’s it. We don’t sell it or share it with anyone other than the email service that sends the emails, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Jammigans Interactive

jammigans.com and the mailing list are run by Jammigans Interactive AB (“we”). We are responsible for (the “controller” of) the personal data described here. Questions or requests: contact@jammigans.com.

What we collect

  • Mailing list: your email address. Our email service also records when and from which IP address you signed up and confirmed your subscription (as proof of consent), and whether you open our emails or click links in them.
  • Visiting the site: there are no analytics, ads or tracking cookies. Pages with a signup form load a script from MailerLite, so MailerLite receives your IP address and browser details. Our web host also keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.

Why, and on what legal basis

  • Sending the emails you signed up for, and seeing which ones people find interesting: your consent. You give it by signing up and confirming via email, and you can withdraw it at any time.
  • Server logs and the signup form script: our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website.

Who else handles your data

The mailing list is run on MailerLite, which stores and sends emails on our behalf. If data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, it’s protected by safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. We never sell your data or use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. After that we may keep a minimal record that you unsubscribed, so you aren’t added again by mistake. Server logs are kept by our host for a limited period.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete the data we hold about you, and you can object to how we use it. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also just email us. If you think we’ve handled your data wrongly, you can complain the data protection authority where you live.
